Let there be baseball
11/30/2017 6:46 PM ET

There have been some concern from fans asking what happens this weekend if it rains.

The ABL's policy is that we will do everything in our capacity to play, and only cancel a game if it is unsafe to play. We will almost never cancel a game in advance of the scheduled start time unless there is a 0% chance of completing the game within all safe and reasonable operating parameters.

We will endeavour to keep fans up to date with regular weather updates, as we will likely not have any certain information and aim to leave any decision to cancel a game until the last available moment.

We want there to be baseball this weekend. Our series against the Bandits is one we're very much looking forward to and we'll be doing everything in our power to make sure these games go ahead as scheduled.

In six years we have lost only one game to rain and we're hoping that figure remains the same come Sunday afternoon.

In the event that a game is cancelled our policy on tickets are as follows:

GA tickets - will be honoured at any of our remaining openings

Reserved tickets - will be honoured on the designated "make up" game

Corporate and Group tickets - we will work directly with the customer to reschedule their booking for an alternative date.

We'll do our best to keep you updated with weather updates as the day/weekend progresses so keep you eye on TeamApp, our website and various social media channels for updates as the come to hand.
