For the first time since the 2017-18 season, the Alcohol.Think Again Perth Heat will start their Australian Baseball League campaign on the road when they take on the Auckland Tuatara between November 21-24.

The news of facing the Tuatara will be music to the Heat's ears, with the 15 x Claxton Shield champions owning a perfect 4-0 record against their rivals from across the ditch.

In fact, Perth are the only ABL team to own a perfect record against Auckland having swept the ABL's new boys during last season's opening series.

The series will also mark the first time Auckland will play at their new permanent home at North Harbour Stadium.

Heat fans will have to wait until Round Two to see their home side in action when the Canberra Cavalry come to town.

If baseball is what you want for Christmas this year, then the Perth Harley-Davidson Ballpark in Thornlie is the place to be as the Heat host back-to-back home series against Geelong-Korea and the Adelaide Bite between December 12-22.
