Wilson signed following a Super League Baseball Adelaide stint which showcased his high 90's fastball, something Adelaide was searching for.

Unfortunately he struggled to consistently control that speed and he dropped out of the side during December.

At his best he was a clinical reliever, while he had some forgettable games that he just could not get on top of. A strong run of form in January helped him regain his confidence from the bullpen.

GAMES: 12
ERA: 8.80
INNINGS: 15.1
RUNS: 17
STRIKEOUTS: 17
WHIP: 2.09

The highlight

While Adelaide lost in a 4-0 shutout to Melbourne on January 11, Wilson was slick in relief with three strikeouts from 1 2/3 innings. He did not allow a hit or walk.

What's next?

The reliever continues to search for a club while training back home in his native California.
