01/07/2019 6:52 PM ET

The round eight Brut Team of the Week is in, with Canberra dominating the lineup following an impressive sweep over Sydney.

Adelaide and Brisbane are also well represented, while Geelong-Korea has its second selection of the season.

Check out the team and let us know what changes you'd make:

C - Mitch Edwards (Adelaide)

After being harshly overlooked for even a mention in the round seven team, Edwards continued his impressive form for the Bite in round eight.

The catcher appeared in just two games, but went 4-for-9 with four RBI as Adelaide claimed a series win over Geelong-Korea.

1B - Luke Hughes (Melbourne)

Hughes led the Aces with six hits against his former team.

He tied game two of the series with a two-run homer in the seventh, before the Aces won in extras, and went yard again in the series finale.

2B - Riley Unroe (Brisbane)

Unroe had his best series since rejoining the Bandits, driving in seven runs against Auckland.

He homered twice and finished 6-for-20 in the five-game set.

Unroe also walked three times.

3B - TJ Bennett (Brisbane)

Bennett is just one homer behind his tally at the same point last season after going deep three times against the Tuatara.

The utility was 8-for-19 with a couple of walks and eight RBI as he gained another Team of the Week selection.

SS - Michael Fransoso (Canberra)

Fransoso collected a round-high 11 hits as the Cavs swept Sydney in the nation's capital.

The 28-year-old picked up a hit in all four games, homered twice and drove in five runs.

Fransoso delivered the walk-off double in extra innings of game two on Friday night.

Honourable mention: Nick Shumpert (Adelaide)

LF - Zach Clark (Auckland)

Clark homered three times for the Tuatara in their trip to hitter-friendly OneHub Stadium powered by Optus.

The Milwaukee Brewers prospect went 7-for-20 with six RBI and a stolen base.

Honourable mention: Wynton Bernard (Brisbane)

CF - Michael Crouse (Canberra)

Crouse made an instant impact in his second stint at the Cavs.

The outfielder went 8-for-15 with a homer and five RBI.

His two-run homer - with two outs in the ninth during game two - propelled Canberra to a thrilling 10-9 win in extras.

Honourable mention: Carl Chester (Perth)

RF - Michael Gettys (Adelaide)

Gettys topped the ABL with nine RBI during round eight.

He went 5-for-15 with a double, triple and homer, along with four walks.

Gettys blasted his seventh homer of the season in Sunday's series-finale.

He also made a stellar diving defensive play to earn the Brut Big Play of the Week.

Honourable mention: Michael Campbell (Sydney)

DH - Zach Wilson (Canberra)

Wilson leads the league with 11 homers after going deep three times in the Cavs' series win over Sydney.

He went 6-for-12 with four walks and five RBI.

Honourable mention: Chen Kuan-Jen (Adelaide)

SP - Frank Gailey (Canberra)

Gailey tossed six scoreless innings in Canberra's game win over Sydney.

The left-hander struck out seven, allowing three hits and three walks, to record his fourth win of the season.

He was one inning off recording his second complete game shutout of the season against the Sox.

Honourable mentions: Markus Solbach (Adelaide), Travis Blackley (Brisbane), Josh Collmenter (Auckland), Kurt Heyer (Adelaide)

RP - Jin-Yong Jang (Geelong-Korea)

Jang worked 6 1/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen, all in GK's 4-3 win over Adelaide on Friday night.

The 32-year-old entered the game in the third and overcame a leadoff walk in the ninth to take Geelong-Korea into extras.

Jang struck out five and allowed two hits and two walks.

Honourable mentions: Sam Holland (Brisbane), Robert Garcia (Perth)
