Sydney has wrapped up a Brut Australian Baseball League series win over Perth following an extra-innings win on Saturday night.

The Blue Sox scored three runs in the top of the 12th before closing the door on the Heat to record a 10-8 win at Perth Harley-Davidson Ballpark.

After two scoreless innings with international tiebreak rules in play, Sydney finally broke through in the 12th.

Pinch-hitter Michael Campbell drove in two runs and Dwayne Kemp added an RBI-single to give the Sox a three-run lead to protect.

Garrett Granitz was able to get the job done, despite giving up one run on an Alex Hall single.

Earlier, Sydney jumped to a 6-0 lead after two innings.

Gift Ngoepe's three-run homer got the Sox going in the first, before Dwayne Kemp's two-run double and a balk in the second.

Trent D'Antonio's first homer of the season restored a six-run buffer after Jake Bowey scored on an error in the bottom of the second.

But the Heat rallied in the bottom of the third, scoring five two-out runs.

Carl Chester's two-run homer sparked Perth's comeback, ahead of Alex Hall scoring on a throwing error.

Tim Kennelly brought the Heat within two runs with a two-run single.

Robbie Glendinning's fourth-inning sacrifice fly tied the ballgame.

The series wraps up at 4.05pm local time tomorrow, with all the action live on
