Bandits sign High Performance Coach Gary McCoy
The Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits have signed Australian Gary McCoy.

McCoy has served as the Director of High Performance at CTCB Brothers for the last few seasons. Adding McCoy to the Brisbane Bandits Coaching Staff this season will bring a new level of sports science to the Bandits strength and conditioning.
McCoy was born and educated in Victoria but now lives in Arizona, has an extensive career in athlete high performance in the United States including with the 2017 MLB World Series Champion Houston Astros. McCoy has previously also worked with Team Australia.
Bandits International Director Adrian Lamb said "Gary will play a significant role in keeping the whole team physically prepared and mentally focused." 
CEO Mark Ready commented, 
"Gary's extensive baseball knowledge and his sports science knowledge is amazing. He has done magnificent work in the CPBL and will be a real benefit to Brisbane."
McCoy has arrived in Brisbane early to begin player preparation with the coaching staff.
Head Coach Nilsson declared "Gary has a lot to offer back in this country, we are on the same wave length and I'm looking forward to working with him."
