01/22/2018 5:51 PM ET

The ABL and Baseball Australia are excited to announce a partnership with EVA Air on the eve of the ABL Playoffs.

Founded in 1989 and based in Taiwan, EVA Air currently links more than 60 major business and tourist destinations worldwide and is ranked among 2018's World's Top 20 Safest Airlines. EVA is upholding its commitment to quality service as one of only ten Skytrax 5-Star Airlines worldwide and ranks among the World's Top 10 Airlines.

Baseball Australia CEO Cam Vale sees this partnership as important for the overall growth of baseball in Asia.

"We have focused substantial time and energy into the Asian marketplace, and this partnership is an important step for us moving forward," Vale said.

"EVA Air is a well-established and reputable brand, and one which we believe will create increased interest in the Asian baseball market."

General Manager of EVA Air's Australian branch, Teresa Yang is excited to partner with the ABL.

"EVA Air is delighted to be a sponsor of the ABL," Yang said.

"We believe this partnership can deliver success and build a closer relationship with Asia-Pacific baseball community."
