Perth continued its domination of Sydney with a powerful 15-6 victory in game one of their Saturday doubleheader at Perth Harley-Davidson Ballpark.

The Heat wrapped up their sixth win in six attempts against the Blue Sox this season and ninth-straight dating back to last season.

Playing as the away team in a makeup of a rained out game from December, Perth never trailed as its offence put on a show to secure a return to the ABL postseason.

The Heat opened the scoring in the second on Ulrich Bojarski's second homer of the season and blew the game wide open with a seven-run sixth.

Connor MacDonald hit a two-run homer in the fourth to cut Perth's early lead to one run, but the Heat continued to rack up the hits and pile pressure on Sox pitching.

Bojarski drove in a run in the fifth and Perth pulled away for good in the sixth.

The Heat added seven runs on six hits and two walks as they batted around.

Bojarski and Garrett Whitley each drove in three runs to guide Perth to a big win.

Jake Fraley also went deep, joining Brisbane's Donald Lutz on 10 home runs, as did Luke Hughes.

Zac Shepherd added a late three-run homer for Sydney.

Heat starter Nick Veale worked five solid innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits and striking out three.

Game two of today's doubleheader between the sides will start shortly. #OurGame
