December rain equals January gain with the extended round eight schedule leading to eight games live on ABLtv.com powered by Bing Lee.

ABLtv.com will be your home for all five games of Brisbane's five-game series against Melbourne at Holloway Field.

Two games from the Canberra and Adelaide series will also be broadcast live, as well as the series finale between Perth and Sydney from out west.

Meanwhile, the Baseball Live app is your one-stop spot for all ABL content, with live scoring, results, audio streams, highlights and the latest league news.

Here is the pick of the action during round eight:

TONIGHT

Melbourne @ Brisbane, 7.30pm AEDT

Bollinger vs. Hamburger II. Last time Ryan Bollinger and Mark Hamburger went head-to-head they both went the distance, throwing complete games. Hamburger worked a complete game shutout, striking out seven and giving up just three hits as the Aces prevailed 3-0. Bollinger punched out 10 for the Bandits, allowing three runs on six hits. Expect another fascinating battle tonight as Melbourne looks to cement its top four spot and Brisbane aims to clinch its spot across the weekend.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Adelaide @ Canberra, 7.00pm AEDT

Canberra showed plenty of offensive power during its early-season series against Adelaide and has produced a number of big scores at Narrabundah this season. Bite starter Chris Powell stands in the way of the Cavs putting up another big total. The right-hander has compiled an ERA of 5.26 this season but has shown his best is tough to beat. He will front against Lake Bachar, who has restricted opposition hitters to an average of .214 this season.

SUNDAY NIGHT

Sydney @ Perth, 7.00pm AEDT

The Heat and Sox will wrap up their bumper five-game series live on ABLtv.com powered by Bing Lee. By then Perth could have secured its playoff spot and put a significant dent in Sydney's hopes, depending on how Melbourne performs in Brisbane. Alternatively, the Sox could be on their way to a shock series win to keep the battle for a top-four spot alive. Either way, your Sunday evening lounge time is sorted.
