Brisbane continued Adelaide's offensive woes, shutting out the Bite for the second time during their four-game series at Adelaide Shores on Sunday.

Justin Erasmus, Chiu Pin-Jui, Zac Treece, Matt Timms and Ryan Searle combined to keep Adelaide's bats silent in a 5-0 win.

The result lifted the Bandits to a 3-1 series victory.

Donald Lutz homered off Max Beatty in the first inning and Brisbane's offence added timely hits and runs to keep the Bite at bay.

Logan Wade doubled in the fourth to drive home Mitch Nilsson and extend the lead to 2-0 and the Bandits put on three more runs in the sixth.

Wade finished the game going 3-for-4, with all his hits doubles.

Adelaide was led by 17-year-old Curtis Mead, who went 3-for-3 with a double.

Brisbane starter Justin Erasmus tossed 4 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out four and giving up just four hits.

The Bandits' bullpen continued to make life tough for the home side.

Brisbane hosts the Bite in round six, following next weekend's mid-season break.
