OUTFIELDER

Ulrich Bojarski is the only returning outfielder on the HEAT roster for 2017/18 after an overhaul of playing personnel. The 19-year-old led the team in RBIs (18) last year and will be looking to build on his impressive rookie season which saw him hit .243 and stake his claim as the team's first choice right fielder.

The Carine Cats star has been playing rookie-ball with Detroit during the HEAT off-season and figures to be an important player this ABL season.

CATCHER

Alex Hall returns to the HEAT hungry to build on his debut season in 2016/17. The 18-year-old catcher is fresh off appearing in the Under 18 World Cup and will look to build on his eighteen ABL games to-date.

Keep an eye on the Morley backstop who is set for a breakout year both behind and at the plate.
