The Adelaide Bite will be injected with a whole new flavour as Zambrero jumps on board as a partner for the 2017/18 season.

The Adelaide Bite is proud to announce that we have partnered with Zambrero as part of our upcoming 2017/18 season. This partnership makes Zambrero the "Official Mexican Restaurant" of Baseball in South Australia.

Zambrero is currently Australia's leading Mexican Restaurant franchise with over 150 stores nationally. Through it's 'Plate 4 Plate' initiative, Zambrero has provided thousands of meals to those in need with the assistance of distributors, Rise Against Hunger and Foodbank. Zambrero is passionate about its humanitarian efforts and providing fresh and healthy meals to the Australian public.

The Adelaide Bite partnership allows Zambrero customers at select locations the chance to get a free ticket to Adelaide Bite matches with every purchase over $35 (while stocks last). Details of this promotion will be revealed over the next couple weeks.

The Adelaide Bite has prided itself on allowing baseball to become accessible to general public and in particular, families.

Gerard Rowan, South Australian Development Agent for Zambrero, says there are great synergies between the Bite and the Mexican restaurant chain.

"We are very excited to be a sponsor of Adelaide Bite for the upcoming season. It's so encouraging to see everyone come together and support baseball in SA - this family feel is something we love to see at our restaurants too," he says.

In addition, Eric Balnar, Business Operations Manager at the Adelaide Bite, believes, "Great baseball and great food go hand in hand. I can't think of a better place for fans to eat before games and during the week than any of the great Zambrero locations."

We are also happy to announce the award of "Zambrero's Man on a Mission". This award recognises the best player of the weekend. "Zambrero's Man on a Mission" will be announced weekly on the Adelaide Bite's social media platforms.

Zambrero will be hosting a "Kilo Burrito Challenge" in which players will attempt to completely consume a one-kilo burrito. This video will be uploaded to the Adelaide Bite's website later in the season.

The shared values of the Adelaide Bite and Zambrero have allowed a strong partnership to be formed until the end of the 2017/18 season and beyond.
