Heat head to Geraldton
10/03/2017 11:32 PM ET

Alcohol. Think Again Perth Heat players will travel up to Geraldton this Thursday for a series of skills and drills clinics running through Saturday.

New signing Travis McDonald, formerly of the Sydney Blue Sox, will make the journey to Geraldton along with young-guns Sam Kennelly, Jake Bowey, and Jess Williams.

"I'm really excited to head up there and see the talent that's on offer," McDonald said.

"WA is a great place and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it."

The trip comes off the back of two successful Tiger Cubs trips to Geraldton in 2016 and 2017 led by Baseball WA Development Officer Mitch Williams.

The clinics are set to be a highlight of the school holidays for the town and come just two weeks before the start of the Batavia Coast Baseball and Tee-ball League.
