The CompassMarkets.com Sydney Blue Sox (8-6) have levelled their home stand, with a 6-2 win over the Brisbane Bandits (6-8), presented by WellDog.

An explosive five-run inning catapulted the Sox to Saturday afternoon's victory and moving the series to 1-1.

Trent D'Antonio started the offensive charge, with a two-run single in the fifth, which was followed by a three-run homerun from Malik Collymore (3), taking his RBI tally to 14 for the ABL season. Collymore also reclaims his lead atop the ABL RBI standings. Jacob Younis continued his impressive form at the plate, as he brought Zac Shepherd home with a single in the sixth.

Starter, Luke Wilkins (W, 2-1) was dominant in his outing, striking out three, while allowing two runs across six strong innings. Despite copping a knock to the arm on a line drive, Wilkins persevered to earn his second win of the season.

The second game of the twin bill sees Club stalwart Craig Sanderson take the mound, searching for his league-leading fourth win of the season. First pitch 7:00pm.
