The Sydney Blue Sox (4-2) have recorded their first road win of the 2016/17 Australian Baseball League season, accounting for the Canberra Elite Cavalry (2-4) in a comprehensive 10-0 victory.

Rookie infielder Shane Kelleher highlighted the offense with four RBI's and three hits. Kelleher narrowly missed a rare feat, just a double shy of the Cycle. A former Blue Sox bat boy, Kelleher tallied his first ABL hit with a two-run home run in the top of the second inning. The runs continued for the rookie as he tripled in two runs in fifth inning.

Milwaukee Brewers prospect, Malik Collymore, crushed his second home-run of the ABL campaign, a three-run shot in the fourth.

On the mound, Sox stalwart Craig Anderson (2-0) was at his consistent best, striking out four over five scoreless innings. Anderson was supported by Yoshikoshi and Grattan in relief, as the Blue Sox combined for a four-hit shut out.

Sydney and Canberra take the field for Game Three - 7:00pm (AEDT) on Saturday night at Narrahbundah Ballpark, Canberra.
