SYDNEY - For the first time in the league's five-year history, fans will be able to watch regular season Australian Baseball League games live on television. The final five Sundays of the 2015/16 ABL regular season, one game will be broadcast around the world on several different networks.

The first game was on Sunday, 27 December at 5:00pm AEDT, when the Alcohol. Think Again Perth Heat hosted the Jet Couriers Melbourne Aces. The Aces rallied for a 6-5 win over the home Heat.

The following week, fans saw the Aces host the Brisbane Bandits, proudly presented by WellDog, with the Bandits eking out a 7-5 comeback win.

The spotlight returned to Perth in the next two rounds. The Canberra Elite Cavalry won the Round 12 matchup 9-5 in an extra-inning thriller that took 11 innings to decide a winner.
