SYDNEY, 27 January - When the Adelaide Bite, proudly presented by SA Power Networks, go for the state's first Claxton Shield premiership in 35 years in the 2015 Australian Baseball League Championship Series presented by ConocoPhillips, they'll do so live on ESPN Australia/NZ in over 2.5 million homes and worldwide to millions more on MLB Network, a web simulcast on MLB.com and Fox Sports Asia, the ABL has announced.

The league has also announced audio commentary for the 2015 Championship Series. Chris Coleman, voice of the Canberra Elite Cavalry, will have the call along with Anthony Overs and Chris Mac. The trio's coverage will be available through Mixlr.

The 2015 ABLCS is set for 6-8 February at Norwood Oval in Adelaide, where the Bite will host the Alcohol. Think Again Perth Heat, reigning league champions and winners of three of the last four Claxton Shields. The schedule for the ABLCS and live ESPN coverage is as follows:

  • Game 1: 6 February - First pitch at 7:00 p.m.
  • Game 2: 7 February - First pitch at 7:00 p.m.
  • Game 3*: 8 February - First pitch at 7:00 p.m. (*if necessary)

MLB Network will carry each game live from 3:30 a.m. US Eastern Time. Specific coverage details for Fox Sports networks across Asia will follow.
