22nd October, BRISBANE: The Brisbane Bandits, proudly presented by WellDog, are happy to announce the roster for the 2014/2015 ABL season. Head Coach Dave Nilsson has prepared a thirty man roster of various players from Australia and outside of the country. Each week, Nilsson will select twenty-two players for the weekend series to suit up and take the field. The weekend roster will depend on multiple factors, including each players health that week and making sure the team has enough players at each position.
As the team prepares for their first ever Claxton Shield, they have players that represent over four different countries, three continents and have had experience playing on a professional level. The team just welcomed four members of the Tampa Bay Rays organisation to Brisbane and the Bandits have more players coming to the country over the next few days. Dits Nation is invited to come out and support the Bandits tonight at 6:30 PM, when they take on the Queensland All-Stars for their second pre-season game of the year. And don't forget to help pack the park on Thursday 30th, October, when the Bandits open the 2014/2015 ABL season at home against Adelaide.
