Adelaide (28/1/11 - Game 2) In contrast to game one's 14-2 victory, Adelaide ETSA Bite sealed the Australian Baseball League semi-final series on Friday night by only a single run, finishing 4-3 in a thrilling 11-inning game against Melbourne Aces at Norwood Oval.

While two miss-plays almost gifted the Aces the game in the eighth frame, it was left to Catcher Brandon Brantz to score the winning run in the top of the 11th innings.

With neither side scoring from the sixth frame until the exciting conclusion, it was magnificent pitching from the relievers, the Bite's Adrian Burnside and Melbourne's Jeff Jamnik, which was the highlight.

Adelaide now travels to Sydney for the final installment of the Delta Air Line Postseason series preliminary final series, with the victor earning a berth in the Delta Air Lines Championship Series against Perth.

The Melbourne Aces players and staff would like thank all our wonderful members and fans for their support throughout the summer. We've loved having you on board during this, our inaugural, season and hope you enjoyed the ride.

See you in Season 2011/2012 !
