The first Opening Day in Blue Sox history is officially a sellout.
SYDNEY - The Sydney Blue Sox have sold out their November 6 season opener against the Canberra Cavalry at Blacktown Olympic Park, the team announced Wednesday. A sellout crowd of 2,000 will be on hand to witness the first game in the inaugural season of the new Australian Baseball League.

Fans in Sydney responded in impressive fashion when tickets went on sale this spring. In fact, with still six weeks to go until the opener, the Blue Sox sold out of all season memberships for the 2010-2011 campaign. Since single-game tickets went on sale in late September, supporters in New South Wales have surged for seats. Several of the club's home games from November through January are nearing sellouts, as well.

Tickets are still available for select Blue Sox home games throughout the inaugural ABL season. For more information, click here or call the Blue Sox front office at 02 8006 1423.
